Abstract:
Nanotechnology allows for the unique design and functionalization of materials and devices at the nanometer scale for a variety of applications in physics, biology, nanoelectronics, and materials science.

We have devoted to the development of stimuli-responsive 2D/3D nanomaterials, which demonstrate their ability to respond in an autonomous manner upon being triggered by an external stimuli for targeted drug delivery, biosensing, diagnostics, and therapy, and to the use of multifunctional nanodiamonds as a platform for bioimaging, gene delivery and disease therapy.

Our research also intends to develop DNA-mimetic polymers with specific nucleic acid sequences through solid-phase synthesis approach. Their potentials as novel antisense or antigene drug for gene therapy and as attractive building blocks in the area of nanoscience are also investigated accordingly.
